ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marcos Ocaña
was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1974. Since 1996 he has worked as a Physical Education
teacher and instructor of several physical activities, having given classes both in public
and private schools.
His way in the
martial arts began at twelve and since 1997 he holds the black belt and instructor
certification in Full Contact, as well as the black belt 2nd rank in Wu-Shu.
His interest in Bruce Lee began as a child
and since then he has studied his life and work, both artistic and philosophic, having
translated several books and articles from English and French. In 1995 he began to work as
a freelance writer for several publications (both national and international), and in May
of 2000 he began En El Espíritu de Bruce Lee (In the Spirit of Bruce Lee),
the largest website about Bruce Lee in Spanish language of the net, to provide the Spanish
speaking fans a quality source of information about his legacy. After many years gathering information he felt that it was the time to tell the story of Bruce Lee, himself. This, his first book, is the fruit of all those years of investigation, a labour of love and the fulfilment of a personal dream.
